The Givers Revival was founded by leaders who have lived, led, and healed within the realities of social justice work. With over 20 years of experience, our leadership team brings a deep understanding of philanthropy, movement-building, and trauma recovery to every activation and initiative we design.

The Issues We Address + Why We Lead This Work
The Beyond the Bars Conference brings together students, faculty, directly impacted leaders, and funders to connect and strategize on ending mass incarceration. At this year’s event, The Givers Revival EAP supported movement leaders in navigating:
- • Burnout and emotional fatigue from sustained frontline activism.
- • Decision fatigue in philanthropy, helping funders and grantees make sustainable choices.
- • Workplace conflict, providing resources for mediation and leadership support.
- • The disconnect between funders and movement leaders, strengthening relationships, trust and communication.

What Sets The Givers Revival EAP Apart
-
• We are the first structured Employee Assistance Program (EAP) designed for philanthropy and movement frontlines.
-
• Our platform integrates culturally-rooted medical care, alternative healing, and conflict resolution.
-
• We provide a streamlined, centralized wellness infrastructure— not ad hoc practitioner support.
-
• We believe in both virtual and in-person activations to create sustainable impact.
-
• Our programs are built specifically to meet the challenges of foundation executives, grant-makers, and nonprofit leaders.
